Treatments

I offer the following techniques as part of my treatment approach. You’re welcome to request specific techniques, and I will gladly provide them if they are appropriate for your needs. Additionally, I will recommend the best treatment options based on your specific symptoms to ensure effective and personalised care.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a comprehensive field based on medical knowledge (anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics), which uses various techniques to restore, maintain and improve movement and function of the body. It is based on physiology and intersects across all medical fields - oncology, psychology, etc.

It includes diagnostics, manual therapy, exercise and patient education.

Exercise Programs

One-on-one specifically targeted exercise program tailored to your needs helps you to gain the proper muscle strength, flexibility and joint mobility in order to fully recover and return you back to the activities you love doing pain-free such as
surfing, tennis, swimming, running, skiing, snowboarding, calesthenics, bodybuilding, wakeboarding, kayaking, horseriding, volleyball, golf and more.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is an invasive procedure where a specifically designed fine needle or acupuncture needle is inserted into the muscle. It releases myofascial trigger points, hyperirritable spots palpable as nodules in the taut bands of skeletal muscles. It is an incredibly effective technique for getting rid of pain and returning back to function.

Sports (deep tissue) Massage

Sports Massage is an intense deep tissue pressure technique that is suitable not just for athletes, but also for people with a sedentary job. It contributes to the rapid removal of fatigue, relieves musculoskeletal pain and helps to recover quicker and improve performance.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient form of therapy used for over 5000 years. It can eliminate pain and inflammation, and promote function of the immune system. It is one of the most effective techniques for increasing local blood flow to tissues and promote local healing.
