All services at our clinic may be covered through a range of funding schemes. Below is a guide to help you understand what you may be entitled to and how to access it.

  • If your private health policy includes physiotherapy as part of your extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate on your treatment costs.

    • 1 Check your policy includes physio extras cover — contact your insurer or check their app.

    • 2 Pay for your appointment and receive a paid invoice from us.

    • 3 Claim through your insurer's app, member portal, or by submitting your receipt.

  • Medicare does not typically cover standard physiotherapy. However, if you have a chronic condition managed by your GP, you may be eligible for up to 5 subsidised allied health visits per calendar year under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.

    • 1 Talk to your GP about whether you qualify for a CDM plan.

    • 2 Your GP will refer you to us as part of the plan.

    • 3 Bring your referral to your appointment. A Medicare rebate will apply (currently $61.80) and a gap fee of your chosen appointment length will remain.

  • If you are an NDIS participant, physiotherapy may be funded under your plan through the Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living support category.

    • 1 Confirm your plan includes physiotherapy funding (check with your planner or support coordinator).

    • 2 Let us know if your plan is self-managed or plan-managed so we can invoice correctly.

    • 3 We will provide invoices aligned to NDIS line item codes.

  • If you hold a DVA card, you may be entitled to fully covered physiotherapy services at no cost to you.

    • 1 Obtain a referral from your GP before booking — this is required for all DVA patients.

    • 2 Contact us to book a 30-minute appointment and let us know you are a DVA patient.

    • 3 Bring your DVA card and GP referral to your appointment. We will bill DVA directly.

Please note we accept DVA patients for 30-minute appointments only. If you are unsure of your entitlements, contact DVA or speak with your GP.
